Description The New Standard
Wolfgang Arenz has developed many award-winning bicycle tires in recent years but recently decided to combine all his rubber-tech-know-how into the new Wolfpack Tire line. The legendary tire master left Schwalbe in 2017 and went on to create his own tire brand, vowing to only construct the highest quality tires that he could make.
Arenz's special composition of the latest high-end polymers creates a noticeably safer riding experience and provides a feeling of absolute control.
Based on Arenz's experience crafting bicycle tire compounds for Continental, Specialized, and Schwalbe, he developed the revolutionary ToGuard rubber compound, which rolls as fast as other competitors but offers much more grip.
The ToGuard rubber compound, in conjunction with the super-fine nylon carcass and aerodynamically optimized profile, makes the Wolfpack Race one of the best tires in its class.

Great tire so far.

I bought these tires for my wife's bike. If you are familiar with the web site Bicycle Rolling Resistance they measure the rolling resistance of many types of bike tires. They also allow you to compare up to three tires against each other at once. Compare this tire to the Specialized S-Works turbo and you will find the two tires are nearly identical but this one rolls with two watts less resistance. All other measured items are equal. This shouldn't be surprising as Wolfgang Arenz worked for Specialized at one point in time before going out on his own. I have had good luck with the Specialized tire as it delivers in that all around category. Reasonable rolling resistance but great wear and resistance to puncture. This tire reportedly is 2 watts less rolling resistance while maintaining wear and puncture resistance. A win, win ,win in my book. Now if they just made the tire in a 700/28 I would have it made.

As Good As Road Clinchers Get

I have been a fan of Veloflex Corsa tires for years as the closest thing to sew-ups in a clincher. When those were temporarily unavailable, I did some reading and thought I would try the Wolfpacks. They are in the same price range, so not cheap tires, but they have held up very well over a lot of daily miles now, and are a great value if you appreciate quality. I would put these on par with the best clinchers I have tried - they are silk smooth rolling and corner with confidence at high speed. I will absolutely buy these again.

Easy to install
Bought these tires for a new carbon wheelset. Tires were very easy to install and remove. Due to the 21mm internal width and 28mm external width of the new wheelset, the 700x26 tires ballooned out to almost 31mm, and rubbed the front fork. Removed them, and installed on another carbon wheelset, that has a 19mm internal width, and 28mm external width. Tires inflated to 27.5mm.

Awesome Tires
I used to ride nothing but GP4000s tires and when they started making the 5000s I had issues and switched to Donnelly LSV which are great. Durable and low rolling resistance. The Wolf Pack 26s seem to be very durable and have low rolling resistance like the old 4000s.
