I ride road, gravel, mild single-track and rails to trails on a carbon gravel bike, average rider, average speed, etc. The Vittoria Terreno G2.0 Gravel tire is an excellent tire for my riding needs. The center slick area is wide, fast-rolling and quiet on pavement and the light shoulder blocks provide decent traction and confidence in turns on looser surfaces. I ride the 35mm width and can run them at a little higher pressure for pavement and lower for the rougher stuff and they perform great either way.
I can't say how they'll wear long-term yet, I only have about 500 miles on them, but they aren't showing much wear yet.
It's been 1 year since I switched to Orange Seal Endurance in these tires.Stans regular would not seal the pores. No leaks ever since the switch. These tires get up and go on pavement as long as you are maxed out on pressure.I go 2lbs -5 lbs over without issue. They corner great. I took them on a 14 mile down hill gravel ride 2 days ago.I dropped the pressure down to 60 psi and the ride was comfortable. At the end of the ride the tires were in fine condition. They don't show any signs of wear and were easy to mount tubeless..
If you want to use these tubeless you will need to use Orange Seal Endurance. Regular Stans does not work with these thin skin tires. I returned these after 70 mi of use do to them leaking constantly with Stans sealant. I next ordered Gravel King +,same chronic leaks with Stans. I wised up and bought Orange Seal Endurance, problem solved instantly! I still prefer the Terreno tires.90 psi vs 60psi for the GK'S.I would have given them a 5 if not for the leaky sidewalls. The Terreno's seemed to have more grip. The GK's are still impressive.
I have these mounted on my Giant Revolt with Mavic tubeless rims. They roll nice on pave and have enough tread to get some real bite on dry gravel. I have not tried them in muddy conditions so I can't speak to their effectiveness in wetmuddy conditions. They were pretty tight during initial mounting on the Mavic rims but once mounted seated nicely.
Im a daily commuter over mixed terrain and the tires are amazing. I run the 35mm because that fits in my fenders. These are a tubeless setup that mounts and inflates easy. The slick center rolls nice on hard surfaces and the side knobs grab better than youd think. Ive pulled 5 pieces of glass out of my rear tire without any actually puncturing. Id say these are a solid 3 season tire.
