Tread separates from tire
by Mike

Bought two of these last year. The tread, which appears to be glued onto the casing, started to separate after about 1000 miles. Guessing that it was a rare defect, I installed the second. When it started doing the same at about 1000miles, I tried supergluing the tread in the places I could see it failing. At 3000miles it totally separated causing a flat (much too large a hole for the sealant to fix). I'm accustomed to getting about 9000miles from a rear tire and this is the first time in 24000 tubeless miles that I've been stopped by a flat.

Fast, Smooth & Sticky

I am an avid amateur cyclist I do not race but I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and ride a lot of technical descents at high speed. These tires are smooth, fast, and sticky. I have been riding them for two years and have yet to suffer a flat despite riding the morning after heavy storms with debris all over the road. I do agree with the previous assessment that they do delaminate. However that is happening close to the end of the lifespan of the tire in my experience. I would give them five stars if they didn't delaminate at all but it is kind of like a warning to check out tire tread if your not a maintenance freak. These are not commute tires they are made for sport riding and racing. It is my experience that they should be changed every one thousand miles or less if you are pushing the limits constantly. I personally love them and will continue to ride them for the foreseeable future.

Quality tires
by S Midwest

Tires were installed about 4 months after purchase and arrival. Purchased during a fall season sale. Tires seem of good quality over my original tires. Havent actually ridden on them, as Im waiting for nice Midwest weather to return. Star and review opinion are subject to change once I actually get to put some outdoor miles on them. So far, pleased with my purchase.

Good tire but sharing my observation

Have been running these TLR tires for just over a year. Kinda pricy but overall performance is what I expected: smooth, fast and some what durable.

But here is a gotcha on this tire: the tread band they glue on the casing separates. I dont know why but mine started to delaminate after 6 months about.

Would I buy them again: yes as I think this was a fluke on the one tire. Gots lots of time on it and was getting ready to replace it when I saw the separation between the tread band and the casing.

Fast and supple

I found these tires to be very fast and comfy They were easy to install on my Giant tubeless carbon rims. I used an air canister to seat them. The trade-off is that they seem to puncture easily.

Fast rolling tire

I accidentally happened on this tire, I needed tires and this was what the bike store had for tubeless. I am glad I happened on it. I feel I got a speed boost from the tire. I added the tire liner to it and even when I had a flat I did not notice till end of the ride.

I think others must have found same as me as the store no longer has them in stock so I have bought spare from here.

Not bad.

Ride quality is fantastic with these but the grip leaves a little to be desired. By far, the biggest knock has been getting them seated. I've mounted them on two different sets of wheels so far and they're not overly difficult to get on the wheel - but holy moly are they stubborn to get seated on the bead.

So far so good! Easy to set up tubeless, which is great for us, and has been a solid tire, good grip and feels fast.

Favorite new tire, supple, confident in the corners.

Used to be skeptical of the value of high thread count tires. These changes my mind, with tubeless setup and 50-60 psi, they grip the road with great confidence.
