The Viair Recon Mini SL is lighter, smarter, and built for riders who want every detail dialed. An upgraded aluminum Presta head shaves 30 grams off without sacrificing durability, the digital display reads half-psi increments, and it can be used to tune your MTB fork pressures – allowing you to get that "just right" feeling on any surface.
Like the original, the Mini SL delivers convenience and precision: fine-tune pressures for grip and comfort, adapt quickly to changing terrain, or recover from flats to your exact target. With preset pressure and auto-stop functions, it's fast, intuitive, and stowable in jersey pockets, saddle bags, or downtube compartments. Powered by premium dual lithium-polymer batteries and a brushless motor, wrapped in a shock-resistant TPU shell, the Mini SL is always ready to perform.
When fully charged, the Recon Mini can inflate three 30mm road tires from 0–70 psi, or three 45mm gravel tires from 0–40 psi, or three 2.4" MTB tires from 0–20 psi, with additional capacity left for top-ups.

I checked out a number of options, landed on this one for all the reasons the marketing brags about. Mostly lives up to the claims, easy to use and intuitive. The valve extension hose that comes with it to keep it from melting the plastic valve stem on TPUs wasn't air tight, so I used a piece of silicone tape to marry the seal and it stopped the leak. It's loud AF and slow to get up to roadie pressure, but way better than a hand pump and I like the control and less waste than CO2. Perfect for my really low pressures on my both my gravel and mtb bikes, which I run TLR with alloy stems so no need for the extension hose, which improves the performance with a direct mount. Thumbs up' if it lasts a couple of years (if not, it's more batt & plastic waste). Seems very well built, so I'm optimistic.
