I prefer the close fitting gloves without a closure by Castelli and Sportful. These fit snuggly and don't slide around on my damp hands. The padding is good without being too much like some gel padded ones. I like the clean white appearance- goes great with clean white bar tape! With no velcro closure, these are much easier to toss into the wash with your other cycling garments, just a tip, little detergent, inside out, no fabric softener, and hang dry.
I got these on sale to use with my gravel on shorter rides/commutes up to 20 miles so far and they work very nicely. Not too bulky and no stress on my hands. Needs a bit of tugging to come off but nothing too traumatic.
