Description Less Heat + More Stopping Power = Better Braking
Disc brakes have rightfully become the contemporary standard across all major cycling disciplines thanks to superior stopping power, nuanced modulation, and reliable all-weather performance, and the Shimano XT/Ultegra RT-MT800 Centerlock Disc Rotor features new technology to take that performance up a notch.
Shimano's Ice Tech Freeza technology means this rotor is able to cope with sustained braking and high temperatures associated with both road and mountain biking. Shimano's advanced Freeza heat-dissipating design reduces brake fade. Installing and removing the rotors is quick and easy thanks to Shimano's proprietary centerlock design.

Lightweight, slightly lighter than the Shimano road rotors, used on a road bike

Weight weenie wise, this rotor is lighter than the XTR version and lighter than the Ultegra and Dura-ace versions. This is why I got it. Works well on my road bike paired to Ultegra R8000 shiftercaliper. I'm using 160mm front140mm rear.
What else can I say? It works as intended.

Sintered pads!

Finally upgraded bike from resin-only to sintered compatible discs. Working well and no squeals in the first couple hundred miles, even in the wet. These look pretty rad, too.
