With the newest Dura-Ace Crankset, 11-speed compatibility is just the beginning. Shimano engineers have also designed the FC-9000 for hassle-free compatibility with all common chainring configurations, while reducing the weight and refining the aesthetics. The resulting design beautifully merges performance, practicality and style.
As the centerpiece of the 9000 group, the newest Dura-Ace crank is instantly recognizable thanks to its 4-arm spider. This prominent design feature provides riders with the option to swap between standard or compact ring sizes on the same crank, making it easier than ever to ensure your gearing suits your terrain and riding style. As a bonus, the 4-arm design also reduces weight compared to last year's five-arm construction, with no negative impact on stiffness.
To further the balance of weight savings and rigidity, the FC-9000 crank is built using the proven HollowTech II and Hollowglide systems. These technologies allow Shimano to strategically place hollow aluminum sections in the chainrings and cranks themselves. The updated tooth profiles provide flawless shifting with the new CN-9000 11-speed chain.
The Dura-Ace FC-9000 Crankset is available in various arm lengths with either Standard (53/39T) or Compact (50/34T) rings. Compatible with all Shimano Hollowtech II outboard bearing bottom brackets (sold separately). Claimed weight: 603g.
