Purchased the medium size bag about 6 weeks ago and used it on at least 4, 100 - 140-mile road rides, (plus shorter rides) around Tucson AZ. Easily holds 5 energy chew bags, cell phone and a snack size sandwich bag for stashing cash and a small Allen wrench tool. The outside pouches are nice to store empty energy chew bags. The topside of the top tube on my bike is flat and over 1.5" wide, so the bag sits securely and without movement once strapped to the tube (a round top tube might have different results). The double zippers are a convenient feature allowing quick and easy access to either end of the bag. Overall, really satisfied!!!!
I ride mostly gravel events and have tried various storage solutions for all-day nutrition. My issue with bags I've tried were related to how secure it was on the frame (i.e. wobbly vs stationary), capacity, how easy it was to open/close whilst riding, and how hard it was on my frame (I don't have top tube rivets so straps are my only option). This bag ticked all the boxes: easy to attach and sits securely even during the washboard gravel sections, easy to access, and the frame paint is not affected. And, it's very lightweight!
I use this on my hard tail mtb for rides when I don't want to wear a small backpack. I can fit a spare tube, snacks, InReach, wallet, and a map. Tools are in a seat pouch, phone is on a stem mount. The bag is very stable on trail rides. The finger pulls on the zippers are fabulous. The stem attachment works well on my low rise mtb stem. Be nice if it came in some other colors.
