Every rider needs a lightweight packable jacket for cold early morning starts or emergency weather protection. Especially as the seasons begin to change where chilling winds and freezing rain showers become more frequent, stay safe from any conditions with the PEARL iZUMi Men's Quest Barrier Jacket. No matter if you're commuting, bikepacking, or putting in winter base miles, this jacket provides just what you need to conquer the cold-weather months.
A lightweight and breathable rip-stop barrier makes up the entirety of this surprisingly heavy-duty cycling jacket, delivering a layer that can easily protect you from the elements while still packing away easily into any stow bag. Best part is that this fabric is composed of 100% recycled material so that you stay eco-friendly and work to reduce your carbon footprint. A treatment of ultra-tough Durable Water Repellent (DWR) sheds light precipitation, so there's no need to worry about if those clouds above really might pour open in the middle of your ride. A two-way zipper allows for ventilation from the top or the bottom so you maintain a perfect body temperature no matter what the thermometer reads outside. Dual side hem cord locks are adjustable to provide a perfect fit at the waist while the relaxed fit helps this wind shell layer comfortably top whatever you're wearing.
This lightweight men's cycling jacket offers the warmth and wind protection you need at a moment's notic. Plus, it adds a durable water-repellant finish to shed off rain or drizzle. Thanks to multiple BioViz® reflective elements, the PEARL iZUMi Men's Quest Barrier Jacket allows you to ride at any time of day — for the ultimate technological advancements in low-light visibility.

Went out for a 100K jaunt the other day and wore a thermal long sleeve jersey along with a vest. I thought I'd carry this barrier jacket just in case. I'm so glad I did, cause after about 30 miles of climbing, the winds started to pick up and had me freezing in my own sweat. I unrolled this jacket from my back pocket and was provided instant protection from the windy elements. It rolls into such a small size, it's worth carrying for extra protection
Great wind and light rain jacket. Zipper works well with one hand. Heavy rain will eventually soak through after a couple hours but a good jacket for most conditions. Packs well into pocket. A zippered pocket would be a nice addition but overall very pleased with purchase.
Replaced my 20-year-old Pearl Izumi jacket with this one. This jacket is well made and lightweight, easily rolled up and stowed in my jersey pocket. Water repellent. Not a real winter jacket, more of a wind breaker.
