Have NR 1000 light on bike, bought second NR Lumina Micro 900 to mount on helmet for nighttime Fat Biking in Alaska, its nice to see moose before you get stomped. Have been impressed with battery life even at extremely cold temperatures. Blinking feature is nice for extra visibility along roads in the daylight.
Like:
Light Weight, small form factor
USB Rechargeable
Bright mostly kept on medium
Battery life enough for 2 hr ride kept mostly on medium.
Dislike:
Wider than regular lumina lights interferes with bike computer
Black color, wish it was a brighter color so it's easy to find in case it falls off.
Would buy again
I bought this as a helmet light for MTB riding in the dark. This light does not last as long as advertised before needing recharged. I went on a MTB night ride with it fully charged and on the middle setting, and it died after 1.5 hours. Good thing I had a CygoLight on my handlebar.
Of course very bright with 900 lumens. I feel safe tightening the plastic bracket (with rubber shim if needed) onto carbon handlebar. I like the blink mode for safety on daytime rides.
