Hit the road.
You've got your road bike decked out in the best gear you can track down, your full-suspension 29er is dripping with fresh mud from your recent shred sessions, and it's time to treat your do-all bike to some love. Mavic updated their famous Ksyrium Elite Disc wheelset to meet the needs of today's road cyclists, delivering UST tubeless compatibility for low rolling resistance, better flat protection, and better comfort all without increasing weight.
Mavic's Ksyrium Elite Disc UST Wheelset features ISM 4D milling, reducing unnecessary material to maximize strength resulting in a better interface between the spokes and the rim for quicker accelerations and better handling. Further improving the spoke/rim interface, Mavic's Fore technology replaces traditional spoke-hole drilling with a threaded receptacle for the spoke nipple to be directly screwed into the rim, becoming part of the structure of the rim itself.
The lightweight, stiff, and strong Ksyrium Elite UST rim is laced with bladed straight pull spokes to the equally-matched aluminum Centerlock-compatible hubs, the rear hub uses Mavic's Isopulse lacing pattern, using a radial pattern on the drive side and 2-cross on the non-drive side, resulting in a more balanced spoke tension. The Mavic Ksyrium Elite Disc UST Wheelset comes mounted with Mavic's Yksion Pro UST Tubeless ready tires, in front- and rear-specific versions. Does not include quick release adapters.

Sure-footed and super durable

Bought in to the road tubeless craze and after seeing a few videos, including one from GCN, decided to go with this wheelset. Haven't regretted it yet. Wheels and tires have been durable around Michigan's terrible roads, crashing through miles of broken asphalt and concrete, gliding along debris-covered shoulders, and shrugging off anything and everything in its path. The tires roll and grip very well at 80 psi, haven't assessed wet weather grip yet. Hubs engages very quickly and has a quiet but nice-sounding freewheel noise. Wheelset looks great with the aero spokes. Tires went on very easy, especially compared with my OE wheelset, where I removed some skin and blistered my hands trying to put tires on the OE rims. Very satisfied after 500 km of use so far.
