The Limar AIR PRO MIPS helmet is made with an extremely innovative production process in which carbon fiber, due to its high mechanical resistance and lightweight properties, is woven directly into the helmet shell, improving safety without compromising weight.

CARBONCORETECH:

The 3K carbon, coupled inside with EPS foam, is the main feature of the Air Pro Mips. Two structural wings merge with the side ribs of the shell, creating a high performing external cage.

The 3K carbon is then co-moulded with EPS in 5 layers, instead of as a simple film. (the same process used for building bike frames!) The carbon now becomes the soul of the helmet, combining with the expanded polystyrene to create a sturdy shell with optimized ventilation aerodynamics.

MIPS Air:

Mips Air is a Brain Protection System made with a low friction layer that allows a sliding movement of 10-15 mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during an impact.

Limar chose the revolutionary and innovative Mips Air solution, the much lighter and more ventilated than the common one. This is achieved through the integration of the Mips System and the LIMAR comfort padding. The result is enhanced comfort, fit and great air flow inside the helmet.
