Just got these, so I decided to do a 35M ride to test them. The quality of construction, the "true to size" fit, and associated details were great - - so why don't I recommend them? In short, the pad is so thin that it isn't very comfortable. These are like the compression triathlon shorts I'd wear for a tri, where a thin pad is great because you run after the bike. However, for cooler weather riding like these I found them harsh and unforgiving - especially after seeing that they were recommended for a gravel ride. Oooof - no no no.
