Overall this is nice hoodie. I bought this mostly for casual wear, esp. walking my dog and needing something warm enough for temps from like 45-60 over a light long-sleeve shirt and it fits the bill for that pretty well. I imagine this would work well for an active garment mountain biking in the 40's. The only issue that I have with the sweatshirt is the arms are a touch short by like an inch for my liking in a men's large - not sure if that was intentional to compensate for gloves on when riding. The hoodie has ample room for my size 44" chest without having excess material, plus good length without being long.
