The Crank Bros Doubleshot Pedals are half clipless / half platform for a high level of versatility on the road, trail, or commute. Featuring Crank Bros' renowned dual-sided Eggbeater clipless mechanism on one side, the Doubleshot is compatible with standard two-bolt MTB shoes using the included brass cleats. Featuring stainless steel wings and spring, the Eggbeater system is simple, reliable, and sheds mud and debris better than anything else out there.

The flat half of the pedal features a wide platform with molded-in pins and ribs for superior grip, and the alloy body is lightweight while still being durable enough to withstand the inevitable obstacles of everyday riding. A chromoly spindle spinning on a custom inner igus™ LL-glide bearing and outer Enduro cartridge bearing increases longevity over previous designs, and they're protected using an improved double-seal system to keep moisture and muck out.

Includes cleats and mounting hardware. Compatible with standard clipless MTB shoes with two-bolt mounts. Claimed weight is 395 g / pair.

Best of both worlds

Maybe you have a long commute and want to clip in and maybe sometimes youre heading to neighborhood cafe or pub and just want to get going. These are the perfect pedals for this scenario. Give it a shot or make it a double.

Exactly what I needed

The platform side grips well to shoes and boots, but oddly mtn. bike shoes slip right off. The cleat side is like any crank bros. pedal, easy in easy out.

It's an affordable option to the downhill version. Quick trips to the store without changing shoes and longer rides with secure pedaling are covered with one pedal.
