I'm not in a very cold climate but it has been dipping down into the mid 30's Fahrenheit on my morning 50 minute spirited ride and I've been wearing these. They have been just right! I'll wear them up to about 42 degrees on shorter rides but I think for me they would be too hot on a 1 hour climb at 42 degrees so I wear something a little thinner. They are easy on and easy off, work well enough with drop bars and great with flat bars. Also they have soft spot perfect for wiping snot.

I use these for all types of riding, road, gravel, mtb. The single split finger makes shifting and breaking much easier than the traditional lobster mitts. Warm and windproof as advertised.
