Long live the King.
Chris King's legendary in-house fabrication makes for a bottom bracket that's smoother and more durable than anything else on the market. They manufacture their own ceramic sealed bearings which allows them to place more rolling elements per bearing for a stronger design and exceptional quality. This 24 mm Ceramic ThreadFit Bottom Bracket fits English threaded frames of various shell widths for the road and mountain and will fit 24 mm spindles and 24-22 mm step-down cranks but may require use of a Chris King Bottom Bracket Conversion Kit depending on your specific setup.

Pretty good, once you can get it set up right...

After several attempts and combinations of various kits, I reached out to CK support. The response was that it must be the frame (which had several other prior BBs seated fine) and that I would have to get the frame ground down before they would consider a part repair replace. I worked with a LBS which was a CK official support and they took it off, shipped it back, got a replacement, and it worked fine. So $100 later to the LBS for labor shipping is what it took to get CK to stand up for their product. That said, once it was installed and set up it does feel pretty nice, but I don't think I would go through the pain of dealing with CK again...
