After several attempts and combinations of various kits, I reached out to CK support. The response was that it must be the frame (which had several other prior BBs seated fine) and that I would have to get the frame ground down before they would consider a part repair replace. I worked with a LBS which was a CK official support and they took it off, shipped it back, got a replacement, and it worked fine. So $100 later to the LBS for labor shipping is what it took to get CK to stand up for their product. That said, once it was installed and set up it does feel pretty nice, but I don't think I would go through the pain of dealing with CK again...
