These seem as good as any other resin pad offering from Shimano (the OEM aluminum with fins) & SwissStop that I've tried. No perceptible increase in noise or reduction in braking performance, and I frequently ride steep descents. Longevity remains to be seen, but so far minimal wear after 500mi or so. Don't see any reason to spend extra on other models.
These fit perfectly and have been quiet since installing them.
Pads are quiet and work great.
