Replaced a Selle Italia C2 with this one. What a difference for me. The extra 10mm of width (145mm vice 135) has made a large difference in comfort as my sit bones are now supported properly. I also find the shape is much better as it gets narrower sooner and reduces chafing on the inside of my thighs that irritated me with the old saddle. The c2 had a cutout which I found caused me more discomfort than just a regular saddle.
As always, saddles are a fit item but if you have wider sit bones, or issues with inner thigh chafing and don't need a cutout, this is a great saddle to try. I'm 5'11 170-175 lbs depending on the season and beer intake. ,-)
I use the saddle on my Trek road bike. I really like the width at the rear of the saddle Great support. And nice looking too!
Seats are just one those things that either fit or they dont. I took a chance here. I could tell after one ride this seat wasnt for me.
Great saddle that looks great and is very comfortable to me. Have over a 1,000 miles since I bought it and love it, the only reason it doesn't get five stars is I got the red model and the red stripes down the middle of the saddle are coming off. Other than that its amazing.
The Ti 316 Saddle is a little stiffer then my old Selle Italia. It took a few rides to get use to, as would any new saddle. Rides over 60 miles I had zero discomfort.
