When bridging the gap from late fall through to early spring this jersey is perfection. Its going to keep you warm alone, with a base or with cape depending on conditions. Temps from 38F to 58F are this jerseys bread and butter. Great cuffs and collar, good zip and outstanding pockets. This should be a staple for any serious rider who shuns garage riding.
Replaces a very good Gore jersey with a broken zipper. (Would someone PLEASE develop a strong zipper that works with bicycling clothes? I think I have half a dozen jerseys with stuck or broken zippers!). Anyway the PI Attack does a significantly better job than my old Gore at blocking the wind while still breathing well. Has a very wide temperature range. Great for rides that start out cold but warm up. Runs a little small, but still OK. Love the green color. Ain't cheap, but it's good.
I'm 5'7" and. 125 lbs and purchased a size small. Compared to other jerseys in this size, I would say this is normal size, and slightly fitted. There is plenty of room for multiple base layers underneath if you so choose, and it is stretchy enough that it works perfectly. The sleeve length is extra long, which is fine for using it with gloves and no gap, even for a taller person. Garment length is normal also ( not too short) so that the pockets stay low enough for easy access. Pockets are roomy. I really like this jersey.
Great fit. Love the back pockets and 1 zipper. Use it road, Mtn and fat biking. Will buy a second
Good for road biking between mid 60's and mid 50's. Great color for high visibility. I'm 5'-9 and 170 average build. Medium was too small, returned for large and it is a bit big but works fine.
Weighing in at six feet, 200 pounds, I bought the Jersey on sale in XXL. Normally, I am an XL in Pearl, but I like clothes loose in the wind and wanted to be sure I could comfortably fit layers underneath. I live in Hawaii but ride up the volcano to colder weather, so I need extra protection. Great material and feel. Probably ideal for 60-70 degree weather.
Purchased as a gift with shorts. My son almost returned the jacket, thinking he would never use it. 6 weeks later, it is his "go to" item for the cooler mornings and he LOVES it!! Lightweight, folds into nothing, great extra layer when you least think you will need it.
I picked this jersey up while it was on sale because my old winter jerseys were getting worn and odoriferous (so I'm told). So glad I did... it's a great jersey. It has an athletic fit for sure, but I think it fits quite true - certainly not as small as Castelli. At 150lbs I bought a medium and can wear a thermal layer underneath - I'd otherwise could probably wear a small. I'll for sure get this jersey again in another color!
In comparison with an older PI thermal top, the material in this one is much lighter. The material has a smooth exterior finish similar to a t-shirt and a light fleece type inner surface which is comfortable against the skin. My older top fits well in a size medium. This jersey is a large and fits tighter. The sleeves are quite long and have a three piece construction which results in a seam around the elbow. There is a wide cuff at the end of the sleeve with an reflective accent on the seam. The sleeve doesn't have the feelflow of a single piece. The back of the jersey features 3 deep pockets well suited to carrying your stuff and the zippered pocket on the center pocket presents well and is a good place for cash or credit card. There is a black reflective accent along the bottom of the pockets. The back hem has a tacky inner surface to keep it from riding up. The front zipper and the back pocket zipper are fairly heavy duty black YKK zippers for material this light. I have the hi-viz colored jersey so the black accents and zippers stand in contrast to the jacket material.
I ordered my size it fit fine. Its bright to alert car drivers when I ride. I recommend this product!
FITS REALLY WELL
It fits perfectly and keeps me warm in the mid 40's-50's Fahrenheit. In Celsius, I'd already be warm, lol!!!
