Wanted a new helmet, so I could leave my older one at my son's place in Oregon. One less thing to pack. I had been a loyal user of Giro helmets for decades, ever since Greg Lemond TDF victory over Laurent Fignion. Wanted to try something different, and frankly influenced by Tadej Pogacar's current use. This did not disappoint. Noticeably more air flow between head and helmet to keep cool in hot humid south Florida. Looks great too, but that is always a matter of opinion. Got it on sale so I did not mind the extra cost versus the regular non carbon version of the same helmet.
Very expensive helmet, but worth it. I've generally purchased Giro helmets and have purchased a Lazer helmet too. The Met fit, strap adjustments, lightness, and overall quality are by far the best. Even the helmet bag quality is of high quality.
It's definitely pricey, but it's light, has great airflow and it's beautiful! This helmet just disappears on my head. It's so light and comfortable, I can justify the cost, since I got it on sale. It has the best glasses retention of any of my helmets. I have a long, oval shaped head and this fits well. No mushroom looking thing. The fact that Tadej wears this helmet is icing on the cake for me!

This is a fantastic helmet in all respects. Fits well, looks great, has sunglasses port, and seems to be well made and durable.
This helmet is light, allows an awesome level of ventilation and is the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. I would recommend it to anyone that loves a high quality helmet.
