This jacket is nice looking and has a cycling specific fit. It is thin and not intended as a stand alone jacket, but when paired with correct layering (long sleeve poly, fleece, or wool base), can cover a wide range of temps. It is designed with wind panels on the chest and front side of the sleeves with ventilation on the backside of sleeves and rear to prevent overheating. Only wore it once over thin long sleeve poly jersey with temps in the 45-50 degree range and was pleased with wind protection and ventilation control. But again, it is for cycling and not standing around. What's the rule: if you are warm before you start riding, you are overdressed!!
Easy to pack in case you get caught in the rain. Full length zipper and back pocket are always appreciated. Can't review water resistance as I haven't been caught in the rain yet!
