Bought one first and then two more and changed over all my floor pumps. I got them on sale for $20 each which was a great deal. I had to reduce down the end of the tubing on my old Silca pump but I was finally able to get it on with the supplied compression fitting so I did not need a hose clip. My other pumps had smaller diameter hoses and the pump heads went on without issues.
The pump head just slides right over the valve body and locks on with the attached lever. When done pumping just release the lever and the pump head slides right off, It even has a button to release some air if you want to reduce the pressure.
It is metal and built really well so it should last a lifetime. No more damaging tubes or valves trying to get a pump head off.
My 1st real floor pump has lasted 25yrs and is still going strong, but it was time to get a 2nd floor pump which I decided on a Lezyne Sport Floor Drive pump and upgraded it with LEZYNE PRESTA PRO FLOOR PUMP HEAD. The LEZYNE PRESTA PRO FLOOR PUMP HEAD makes easy work of pumping a tire with a presta valve. Easy to mount, blended excess air, and remove without applying stress to the valve or stem. Simple to use and a secure seal, you can't ask for much more. It's a great match with the Leyzne Sport Floor drive pump.
I have had the Sport Gravel Drive Floor Pump for a couple of years now. The stock screw on pump head was horrible / awful / terrible / no bueno. This Presta-only head is a beautifully machined product that works very well. At $30 it should be wonderful, and it turned a $50 pump into an $80 pump so it only gets 3 stars for value. But if you have a Sport Gravel Drive Floor Pump (or any other Lezyne floor pump with that terrible screw-on head) and you don't want to just throw it out, this is the fix as long as you only need it for Presta valves. Installation is easy. Just cut the tube as close to the old head as possible, lubricate the inside of the tube, and install the new head.
Perhaps a bit expensive; purchased this for a entry level Lezyne floor pump. Operation is far easier than ABS head/chuck, faster, more durable. Makes a good travel or garage go-to set.
It was easily swapped with the existing pump head on my Lezyne pump. The pump head easily went onto the valve and the locking lever was the easiest to engage of all the pumps I've used.
