This is my second set of HED wheels. I bought these because I loved the first set of wheels, but sold them when I stopped riding my rim brake bike as much. These aren�t the widest, most �modern� wheels these days, but I run 30s on them tubeless and they are a dream. The crosswind stability is the #1 selling point for me - I had a set of dura ace c50s on my bike before these, and these are easily as fast and waaaayyy better in crosswinds. The old rim brake ones were the same. HED has this rim shape dialed.
They cost a small fortune but I got them on sale for around 30-35% off. At that price, totally worth it. Made in America yes, but I still think paying over $2K for wheels for almost anyone is bonkers these days.
