I ride about 75 mi. a wk. 25 mi. per ride average speed 13.5 14.5 on blacktop streets ,usually the same route ,I bought these tires 2 mo. ago and cannot attest to the durability at this point but I will say that they are by far the best rolling and fastest tires I have ever owned over the last 27yrs. .
Been riding Continental for a long time. They just seem to get better. Never get flats, and pair them with a latex tube and sing to you.
I have this tire mounted on a Fulcrum Racing 3db and it's a really nice combination. Ride, handling, rolling are all top notch. Expensive, but worth it. Can't speak to durability yet since I only have a few hundred miles on them.
I use them for cycling. I like their durability and smooth ride.
It used to be a great tire. Not anymore. Terrible material quality. Great company but not for their GP 5000 product anymore.
I'm happy to be back on the Conti's.
Great tire, grips better than the GP4000
It's my all around go to tire.
Fast rolling, grippy tire. 4-500 miles in and no complaints.
Pump up to 100 PSI and your bike becoms the rocket.
I got one of the first sets of these tires available for my new Gerard road race bike. I've used Continental GP 4000 S II tires faithfully for about seven years. The new 5000s feel smoother and more sure on descents.
Extremely happy with my decision to purchase the GP 5000 tires. Smooth rolling feel and the grip is excellent.
This a great tire. Have used 4000's an corsa also. This tire is the best out there now. You will not be disappointed!
These are the only tires i put on our bikes! And for the price this is perfect.
Great new tire from the bike tire Kings. I think a good step above the fine 4000 II S.
GP5000's deliver on every front! Fast, Light, Grippy, and Durable. Aesthetically designed, the graphicslogos are more subtle and the rubber is very dark as compared to the previous generation.
Rolls great and durability.
Handling is excellent,
Puncture resistance is good.
Very aesthetic.
Much easier to mount than the tubeless gp 5000
I have it on all my bikes 25's on my Cervelo S5 and 28's on my new Pinarello F. Its durable, fast and light everything i look for in a tire.
