Upsized to 28mm - faster and rides better
Had GP5000 25mm previously - great grip, and smooth, quiet ride - rear wore out pretty fast though
More flats than I'd like though
They are really good tires will buy again
Great tire, grips better than the GP4000
I have always enjoyed brand new tire, but the continental gp 5000 is exceptional . The road feels is excellent the bike handling is superb.
It's my all around go to tire.
I got one of the first sets of these tires available for my new Gerard road race bike. I've used Continental GP 4000 S II tires faithfully for about seven years. The new 5000s feel smoother and more sure on descents.
Extremely happy with my decision to purchase the GP 5000 tires. Smooth rolling feel and the grip is excellent.
My Bike instantly was faster!!
Short rides with moderate hills, decent but not great paving quality. Put the tires on an older Bianchi Eros that doesn't get a lot of miles these days.
This a great tire. Have used 4000's an corsa also. This tire is the best out there now. You will not be disappointed!
Great new tire from the bike tire Kings. I think a good step above the fine 4000 II S.
GP5000's deliver on every front! Fast, Light, Grippy, and Durable. Aesthetically designed, the graphicslogos are more subtle and the rubber is very dark as compared to the previous generation.
Awesome tyres ! Good for training and racing
Excellent quality, after all is is a Continental product
I switched out my gravel tires for these. They are amazing on road!
These tires are awesome. They're very high quality and good value at their price. I use them all season long for training and racing.
Top notch grip, puncture resistance, very low rolling resistance - unbeatable trifecta. No other tire matches it. You are wasting your time with any other tire.
I would'nt buy any other tires. I find them a little difficult to get off the rim, but they are so good that flats are rare anyway. Great long-distance tire, corners nicely. Value priced.
I've had the black wall 5000 GP, they are fast-rolling and fairly puncture-resistant, got the tan walled one just so my bike looks better paired with a honey-colored leather saddle.
I've been riding Continentals for years. They never disappoint. These are my first pair of 28s. Once again, they meet my expectations and the outstanding reviews they receive.
