These tires are awesome. They move fast, but they don't wear fast. The tan sidewalls also look pretty sweet, which of course is the most important part of cycling...
Continental easiest to install and beads up perfect with little effort
GP 5000 good all around tires and they have very competitive price at BIKE Tire direct.

I use these tires on my road bike, I probably get about 3000 miles for a set. They ride well, durable, just a great road tire to use.
Great tires and lowest price available!
Road cycling in south FL with ride lengths of 30 - 70 miles is typical for me now. Continental tires are smooth-rolling, dependable, and have a good grip on the road. I know what to expect out of them and it's the tire I look for when reordering.
I've been using Continental tires for years....first the GP 4000, the GP 4000 - II, the 4 Seasons, the Gatorskins.....and now the GP 5000!
All great tires that are durable and reliable! I use the GP 5000's on both my Tarmac and Roubaix with excellent results.
If you have worn out tires just about any tire is an upgrade. These are certainly worth snagging when in the market. I've had no issues seating them on the wheel, they handle decent, and so far no flats. After a few rides I am a bit dubious of their life, but you can't have everything. I would consider these again if I get some miles out of these. If they wear quickly (as I fear) I'd probably go another direction for the money.
Just completed a 50 mile ride out to Corbett yesterday from Northeast Portland and hit a lot of glass but not a single flat because these tires are fantastic and not prone to flats.
I put at least 5000 miles a year on my bike and I've got a whole year with these tires and only one flat
Continental GP5000 tires are the only ones I use. I put 2 on my bike at the beginning of every year. They always last the 8,000 or so miles I put on them. Use standard tube and they almost never flat. They corner well and ride smooth too.
Great grip of the road; resists glass and other sharps items that can cause flats;
A beast to change/put on.
I was a fan of Continental tires (routinely purchasing Gatorskins in the past).
However, when I got my first flat with this tire, I broke a tire lever removing it, and I could not remount the tire without another set of hands to assist me.
I bought two tires and returned one of them after my experience fixing the flat with the first one. I don't want to be stranded if I get a flat and no one is around to help me removing and remounting the tire.
Smooth, great grip, high quality tires.
great tire for the price considering the performance it offers
these tires are really easy to install compared to other tires too
Got the 28c recently, noticeably smoother and grippier than the 25c at slightly lower psi and based on initial impressions, can't say I feel any slower. Cornering does feel more secure and if the 28's are supposed to perform better in wet conditions than the 25's then even better as the 25's worked fine for me in the rain. Will see how long these last. So far no punctures on my 25's after 2000 miles but perhaps I just jinxed myself...
Great tires and long-lasting but a bit pricy
Installed these before heading out on a week-long ride. Perfomed well in all conditions - wet, dry, steep and curvy downhills and even some gravel.
The Continental makes for a smooth comfortable ride. They absorb some of the roughness of the road. I also found them to be puncture resistant. I had only two flats all year. For a tire that grips so well in the corners, they wear very well.
Started using these Conties again and nice and sticky and good flat protection. I train and race on these.
You can't go wrong with these, pricey but when on sale can be a good buy, stock up when on sale.
