Assos is top quality, best fit, function and form every time, every product. I might be biased, but if that's what is defined by someone who is completely happy with every product they've worn from Assos, then call me whatever you want. It fits me like it was cut & sewn for me. It works. It's comfortable and it doesn't ride up over my back on long rides. Pockets are just the right size. The zipper doesn't unzip itself if I want it half-zipped when I'm putting out some heat on a long climb. It stays where I put it. None of the openings (neck, sleeves, waist) dig in. I have two of these jerseys for all of the above reasons.
Typically I wear other brands like Castelli because those jerseys are form fitting and fairly good quality. I tried this Assos because I wanted a summer jersey that is well ventilated in the Arizona summers. Look no further. This is a fantastic jersey (medium) that fit well (152 lbs and 5 feet 11 inches), is durable, and of course the quality of the fabric and build is top notch. I really can't think of making any improvements. This jersey is the best summer jersey I have ever worn. Enjoy!
I returned it only because the Cento fits me better. I'm lean but I don't race and it was just too close-fitting, though superb.
I really wanted to love this jersey, however it would appear ASSOS products are made very small. I typically wear a small in jerseys so I ordered a medium. Very uncomfortable, I returned it. Maybe need to go up two sizes.
This is a good example of you get what you paid for. Bought the other colors because it felt great. Had to size up as I assume the same is true as I was getting the entry level shirts. 5'8" 165 lbs.. large fit perfectly.
