Excellent replacement

I used these pads for a Shimano 105 brakeset on my Gardin as well as a Modolo brakeset on a Bianchi. They worked perfectly and on the old alloy 700c rims and eliminated the squeal I was getting with other pads. I would definitely use them again.

Great replacement breaks

I had an older pair of brake pads (Shimano 600) that I liked so I jumped at the chance to get the Shimano Ultegra's. They have performed excellently and because I do a lot of hill climbing when I descend, I feel safe with these pads.

Bought this execting to get metal shoe with replaceable pad like Ultegra road brakes, but this a a plastic shoe with the pad glued in - works fine, but not you wil have to change the whole thing when the pad wears out.

While they are not exact replacents for ultegra calipers they are a good set to carry with you incase of a mishap or if someone is in trouble along the road. Good stopping power.

Not very good on a commuter bike...

Lasted 300 miles in Oregons fall weather.

I used the pads on my single speed commuter... The fall weather in Oregon is not the greatest conditions for any brake pad... I ride pretty hard and of course brake hard too. I expected to get a little more wear out of these value pads, but they did a good job slowingstopping the bike. Might be better in summerdry conditions
