Description

The Peak Of Light And Subtle Integrated Power Measurement

Accurate, reliable power measurement is practically a requirement these days, and the Quarq SRAM Apex AXS crankarm power meter upgrade is the easiest way to get precise power numbers. With the tech hidden inside the DUB spindle, it fits almost any bike while remaining stealthy.

AXS

AXS is SRAM's new bike component integration system that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders, and update firmware.

DUB-PWR

DUB-PWR takes Quarq's reliable and accurate power measurement and elegantly houses it inside the DUB crank spindle for compatibility with any chainring setup, measuring left side power to calculate total watts. It's lightweight, invisible and attainable.

Features:

  • DUB-PWR spindle-based unit measures left side power to calculate total watts
  • Proven reliability and accuracy
  • Long battery life (400+ hours) to power a season of rides
  • User replaceable AAA lithium battery
  • DUB bottom bracket adds durability and simplicity
  • Waterproof (IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes)
  • Lightweight (less than 40g heavier than standard crankset)
  • 160mm, 165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm, or 175mm cranks
  • Fits all SRAM Road WIDE DUB BBs, except Ai
  • Direct Mount (DM)

Installation Was Not Straightforward but Awesome Upgrade Once Installed!
by Link
Missouri

Bought this as an upgrade for my gravel bike. I was shopping for power meter pedals but the price of this Spindle system was just too good to beat.

SRAM doesn't really provide any installation instructions and the one video on YouTube was semi helpful but it didn't go into any detail. Make sure that if you have a spacer, to transfer it to the new spindle. I didn't even notice it was there on the original spindle so I had to remove it and install it all again! I also had some issues with a flimsy plastic cap on the BB so keep an eye on that when you do the install.

Once installed though, it has been awesome. Only complaint have been that the calibration step before each ride is kind of annoying and I've had it randomly stop communicating to my Garmin after a cafe stop one time but it finally reconnected after a few miles.

Accuracy seems decent compared to my Zwift trainer and pairing it to my Garmin Edge was super easy.

If you have a bike with Apex, it's a great upgrade to make to get more ride data!

Cranking the watts right out of the box!!!

I bought this as an upgrade for my Cervelo Aspero with mechanical Apex. Had to change out the BB as well since going from GXP to DUB. Overall very happy with the swap! I have done a few rides so far and it is great having the power to gauge my efforts on rides. I have even done a few TrainerRoad workouts outside with ability to watch power.

AXS system for the win
by Anonymous

I was very glad to find this fit on my 2023 Trek Checkpoint with SRAM Apex groupset mechanical. I really wanted a power meter that was not $500 pedals. Pretty easy to install if you have enough torque to remove the cranks!

This is my first single sided power meter from Quarq/SRAM and I am impressed. The accuracy is pretty good when compared to my Quarq dual sided power meter. Thanks
