LOOK engineers constructed and tailored this carbon frame for perfect integration and weight distribution. The motor and battery assembly stored in the downtube with compact dimensions enable its sleek design.
Only slightly heavier than a traditional road bike, the astonishing performance of the E-765 Optimum will have you out scaling the steepest slopes and rolling for endless miles. This comfortable ride will intoxicate you with its charms and capabilities.
The low total weight produces a ride sensation that is close to that of a traditional bike. The natural ride sensation continues when the motor seamlessly disengages at 25 km/h, and transitions to unassisted pedaling. Since the motor is fully disengaged there no additional resistance to overcome, leaving you with a very familiar ride.
The German company Fazua has been an expert in the development of the electric motors since 2013. They have taken that experience and designed the most complete and comprehensive motor on the market today. The combination of LOOK's sleek carbon frame with Fazua's electric assist was an obvious choice since the earliest stages of design.
The detachable motor and battery give you the ability to choose how you want to ride on any given day. Designed as a single unit, Fazua's power plant can easily be removed and left at home for a full analog ride or kept in place to take advantage of the seamless power assist.
The handlebar mounted remote enables precise control of the electrical assistance. There are 4 control modes available: The 0W mode lets you rely solely on your legs. The 2 intermediate modes offer power assistance up to 125 W and 250 W, and last but not least, the rocket mode can reach a maximum power assistance of 400 W.
Control your range by making use of both analog power and electrical power. An average range of 86 kilometers has been recorded for mixed use.
