It features a new cross-country race inspired design with closely spaced low-profile tread to reduce rolling resistance. This tire features a tread pattern designed to tame the challenging conditions found on modern World Cup level XC courses with a wide 2.4″ body for when that extra volume is required.

The Peak SL Race is also incredibly lightweight, weighing only 710g for a 29"x2.40" tire, making it one of the lightest in its class. Riders can achieve faster acceleration and experience better handling, which is enhanced by the additional support and protection from its M:Wall sidewall protection layer, making it ideal for cross-country racing.
