Baselayer I have. Probably not needed above 45 degrees. Amazing one piece construction, and really comfortable as well.

Excellent feel, excellent range

I read other reviews regarding the base itching, but I have had such success with other Assos products I ordered this on sale. My goal was a heavier base I could use with my Castelli Alpha Ros Light jacket for the days in the 30's in Texas. The feel is soft and i would say luxurious, and I do not experience any itch. Indeed, other bases I have do itch a bit, but not this one. Fit is great: 5' 10" 174# Size II. Have ridden in the 30's with the ARos jacket -- do not notice cold or hot, just riding. I have worn when 30's turned into low 50's. Unzipped the ARos interior and exterior and again, not cold or hot -- just right. Great temperature range with a 'forget it's there' ride.

Good, but not worth the huge price

It's fairly warm and wicks ok depending on the shell your using. I wore with both the 2021 Assos Ulatraz jacket (too warm in temps above 32F / 0C) and a much more breathable jacket which was preferable in temps above 32F.

The ultraz mille jacket is ok with a very light base layer from 32F to approx 42F. Above that it doesn't breathe well enough, gets hot, sweaty, then cold. So my preference is this skin layer with a breathable jacket from 35F-50F.

It is itchy if you have dry skin.

Incredible range of temperature comfort, very best base layer anywhere.

Bicycling and cross country skiing in cold weather. This base layer has widest range of comfort and functionality of any I've ever owned. Extremely comfortable with excellent moisture management. Bought one and rode in 28deg weather for three hours, bought second one within an hour of that ride!

Really warm when you need it!

I really like the warmth of this product. I'm new to the PNW and this really helps when it's 35 degrees, raining, and high winds. It's a bit itchy, which is my only complaint. I don't notice this when I'm riding. Get rid of the itching you have the perfect cycling base layer.
