I have wide feet and I was expecting to have a tight fit, but these shoes were very comfortable for my feet.
Great shoe and price at the time of purchase. The ratcheting buckle makes it easy to get the shoe on, adjust for comfort and to remove. The wide fit was accommodating and have not felt any discomfort so far after one hour of riding. With SPD-SL cleats these shoes are comfortable to ride and walk with when off the bike.
I'm very pleased with this shoes. The main reason I bought them was because they are wide. I wear EE shoes and they got like glove. I will definitely recommend this product for any cyclist that has wide feet.
This shoe is well made, quality materials and a solid design. Two velcro straps and one ratchet strap make it one with your foot. There are vents for air. There is a vent on the bottom of the sole at the toe-which I thought was rather unique. This shoe is rated as wide-supposedly a 3E. I wear a 4E. I believe that these were narrow for a 3E. I stretch them with a quality shoe stretcher and they are beginning to conform. Apparently, people with wide feet are not supposed to ride bicycle. I have been pedaling for 68 years and shoe width has always been a problem for me. Many years ago, New Balance made a wide cycling shoe. The SH-RP3LE is the best replacement that I have found-to date.
