It seems like a strong design, but unlike my previous Tule adapter that had some flex in the side arms that go over the traditional mount, these don't flex and they were so tight I could not get them installed without first filing down the inside, and even then had to use a rubber mallet. The tolerance is too tight. I had no problem with my Tule adapter over the years but it was for 100x15 thru axel on my mountain bike but I bought two gravel bikes that have 100x12 thru axel hence I purchased two Rocky Mounts StreetRod. Both were way too tight so if you buy, depending on where you are using them, you may need to do some filing with a metal file. If I had the time to return and order another brand, I probably would have or if I had some means to spread the legs a bit I would have done that instead of file them.
A simple, solid adapter for mounting a front thru axle on a Rocky Mounts roof rack.
