Great for 45-55 degree days. Wore it with craft base layer. It was 60 degrees the other day was almost too hot! Pockets are great too. It is a pro level thermal jersey.
I got this jersey for the colder than normal winter we are having in So Cal this year. I have worn it in high 30's with a long sleeve base layer and have been totally comfortable while my buddies have 2 shirts and a vest. It is great to wear so little, be so warm and not be soaked in sweat. This jersey breathes really well. I will probably buy another one when it goes on sale again and be set for the next 6 years. The warmest I have ridden in this thing is about 58 or 60. That gets a little warm with a thermal base layer. A regular base and you would be golden.

I wear my Pearl Izumi pro escape thermal jersey for cycling in cold weather with an underlayer and in cool weather without additional layers. it is comfortable with a good fit. The price was significantly lower than other on-line sites.
Has style, fit, keeping me warm here in the east. Enough room for a layer under, but, if weather above 50-55, no need for layers. We done!
I bought this jersey to get away from being a mobile billboard in the winter. I'm very happy with the fit, full zipper and multiple pockets. I often wear this jersey with a light vest if rain is expected.
