I have had 3 of these. I love the options for various modes and how bright these are. However, all 3 have just up and stopped working at different times. Something seems to be amiss with the onoff button and the charging slot...seem to have plenty of charge but just keeps turning off. Will not be buying another...looking elsewhere(...just FYI, the Niterider front lights have worked great!..have 2 and never a problem)
I use this light on my daily 14 mile round-trip commute in all weather conditions down to as low as -20C. Highly visible, long lasting charge, and flawless performance. USB rechargeable works great!
I bought this light over a year ago and it is bright but the plug in for charging came loose and I can't charge it. And I had a hard time making it go into the flash mode. Somehow it had turned onto just the red light mode no flash and I could not get it to go back. The salesperson at the store did. I took it back to possibly turn it in for warranty but it is over the 60 days. I would not buy it again.
This light worked fine for the first 3 weeks I owned it. Then, it fell off my commuter pack somewhere in transit. I worried about this happening, given how basic and loose fitting the clasp is. A better design (like Light and Motion) would snap the clasp in place after attachment to loops, hooks, clothing, etc.
The light battery charges easily. It seems easy enough to remove the light from the harness and clip it on your person. I was expecting it to have a pulse setting and was surprised to find the wasn't available. It seems a fair price $30.00 if it lasts for 3 years with regular usage.
Some long rides 2 hours it goes out, even after a full night of USB charging.
Easy to connect and disconnect from your bike with the rubber mounting strip. Plenty of light selections and the lightweight is a plus. Easy to recharge. So far no negative points yet.
