More air in my tire than other pumps. Easy to use with weak hands.

Love this pump. Gets plenty of air in tire so if I get a flat, I am able to comfortably finish my ride. Stylish, too. I have the black, longer model and it looks nice on my frame. I did have my stem break off and get caught in the pump like another reviewer (think pin stuck) but I still like it and will use it.

This is one of the few compact pumps that can attain 90psi in anything like a reasonable time and effort. The attachment hose is a huge advantage vs. having to lock the pump body to the valve stem. So far mine has been completely reliable.

Consider removing the rubber end plugs if you're going to store it in your jersey pockets. They tend to leave black marks that are oddly difficult to remove.

I own two of these pumps and another for the MTB. Great pumps. Barely know they're there until you need it. Light and out of the way.

My other hand pumps just were not able to get enough air in my tires. This one does the trick. Easy to use. I have carpal tunnel so I need something that is easy to grasp.

Awsome pump, if not the best pump market at least tied for the best pump on the market.

This Road Drive pumps is simply fantastic and it looks great too. I do want buyers to be aware of one thing though, this pump comes in 3 sizes, small, medium, and large, if you want the easiest pump to get up to 100 psi or so get the large, I seriously doubt though that the small would get to 100 psi unlike what they claim, and medium might but with a significant amount of effort. It takes about 130 strokes with the large pump to get to 100 psi on my 700x23 tires and the effort is about moderate and not a big deal. The large doesn't look large though, the diameter is the same as the others it's just a bit longer, the small is 7 inches long, the medium is 8 12 inches, and the long is 11 inches.

I like the internally stored hose but it is Presta only which you can get a Schrader to Presta adapter if you want to use it on a Schrader valve, they do sell a replacement hose that has a built in pen air gauge that fits the medium and large pumps but I think that hose is way overpriced. The hose type of pumps, if used correctly of course, will not damage a valve stem as easily as a direct connect pump will. Another word to a potential buyer, you must first screw the hose by itself, in other words unattached to the pump body, to the presta valve then screw the pump body onto the hose.

Lezyne has 2 ways you can mount this pump to your bike, the pump comes with a bottle cage side mount, but they also make a fantastic water bottle cage called the Alloy Cage, and that cage comes with a pump bracket built into the side of the cage just for the Road Drive series.

I have owned lots of pumps and currently have 4 other brands of pumps, and this one along with another brand are the best on the market of light weight mini pumps. I do think the pump is slightly overpriced but it is a good quality pump, I got mine on sale so I'm not complaining. I like this pump so much that when another sale came up I got another Road Drive to put on another bike.

small pump delivers

I've only had to use this once so far, but it worked perfectly. The flexible hose made it easy to put serious pressure in my tire, though it does take some time. I've gotten tired of CO2 escaping overnight or even during a long ride, this pump is a good alternative for basically the same weight.

This is the perfect pump for backup.

It's a top quality piece of equipment in a well thought out design. I use CO2 cartridges for flat repair on the road and top off the pressure with this pump. If I have more flats in one ride than CO2 cartridges then I've got the pump for backup. The mount is secure and the pump is tucked out of the way so there's no interference with pedaling action. Lezyne's screw-on valve has a pressure release valve which prevents loss of air from the tube when you're unscrewing the hose.

Great little pump works really well. The only downside is it does not work on Schrader valves too. I don't have Schrader valves but it's always nice to have that option.

This pump is nicely made. No rattling on rough gravel roads and it pumps a tire quickly. There really is no compromise with Lezyne. Other pumps just dont compare.

Another person needed to fill their tire at the beginning of the ride. so, I let them use it. They thought it was too small and would not be up to the job. Needless to say they were impressed! Thanked me and rode on.

Tiny but can still inflate road tires
by Sean V

I have one of these mounted on every bike I own. They're small enough to be barely noticeable but very effective in a pinch (like the day my CO2 inflator died). I really like mine.

Very light, 90 grams with the frame mount.

Inflates to 75-80 psi with 150 strokes.

Your tire is ready to ride in 2-3 min of pumping and you can inflate as many tubes or patched tubes as un-fortunately happens .

Well worth the money.

Awesome pump! Gets you up to pressure!

Love the LARGE pump over the medium pump because it is much easier to get up to 100 psi. Let's face it, hand pumps are a pain in the butt, but this one makes it as tolerable as possible. Can easily get you up to 120 psi within a couple of minutes. Only downside, is you must be careful with rubber O-rings as they have a tendency to fall out and these are probably crucial to pump's performance...that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Large sized Lezyne Road Drive pump is better than the medium sized one. With Large, it is much easier to get up to pressures above 100 psi. Both pumps will get you there, but one will get you there in half the time.

Keep in mind, you should be wearing a padded glove on your pumping hand as the point of contact will hurt otherwise.

Email me with questions.

Small (fits inside jersey back pocket), but effective. Fixed pinch flat in minutes on a eventrace and didn't feel tired. Barrel gets a little hot from the friction though.

Nice pump, annoying mounting.

It pumps reliably, and the hose adds a little time to the set-up, but makes the actual pumping go,a whole lot easier. As for carrying it, that's its weakness. It has a tendency to fall out of my jersey pockets. And while it's visually unobtrusive on the bike, the mounting bracket is crap. It doesn't fit on water bottle bosses unless you take a dremel to it. This is a recurring problem.

Cheap-ass water bottle cage manufacturers can figure out where to put the holes, why can't Lezyne?
