The bars taste good, are rather dry so a little more difficult to swallow while conducting a strenuous exercise.
I have used many bar brands, they are on the tasty end, good nutrients, very easy to digest. I think bonk breakers are a little easier to swallow.
As a former racer and long time cycling enthusiast, I can't tell you how many hundreds of energy bars (Power, Cliff, etc.) I've eaten since I've been riding. I can say without hesitation that JoJe bars are my favorite by far...delicious, bakery quality. Espresso chocolate almond is my favorite. Amazing how something so healthy and natural (gluten free as well) can taste so good. They are dense, but moist and very easy to digest, perfect for long rides. A friend introduced me to them a couple of years ago when they were sold under the name 'Harmony Bar' directly out of John and Jess's home. I am please that they found BT Direct as a distributor as I have not found any Northern Calif retailers that sell them. My only complaint is that they are so good, I have a hard time resisting the urge to snack on them at home and not have any left for my long Saturday rides.
