Still a bit bumpy despite mounting with care on a very round DA c24 CL rim, yes on my trainer, long story. Have to run it a bit soft and tighten quite firmly to not have it slip on the hops, minor as they are, at hard efforts. Will spend the extra $XX for Conti next time although it sounds like this one won't be wearing out any time soon. Otherwise fine.
Developed two bulges in about 10 hours of trainer use- not good.
I wanted to like this tire, but it just did not last. After one trainer season, it literally fell apart in one section with the tread splitting and peeling away, My previous tire, a yellow Conti trainer tire, lasted 3 or 4 winters before splitting using the same trainer. Going back to the Conti!
I have about 600 miles on it so far and haven't noticed any wear at all, the new stuff is still on the tread. It is quiet, smooth, and wearing great so far. Very happy with it!
Bought two of these. One for my wife's bike, one for mine. Grips trainer flywheel well.. doesn't squeak like normal road tire does. Seems to wear well. No visible wear on my wife's bike after 20 hours of use. Mounting this was absolutely the toughest mount I have EVER done!!! Both of them were not pleasant to deal with at all!! Thought I would snap my tire levers. Might want to consider using KY jelly next time.. Dad spit worked but I was running low on the second tire.
I put a lot of trainer miles on and this tire is solid. I have no fear of destroying tires on the trainer. Good product.
This is the first trainer tire I have used. In fact, this is the first year I am using a trainer. But I currently have about 500 miles on this tire and it is holding up great. The noise is also minimal with this tire.
