Had an old set of Elite bottle cages on my bike and wanted something new and a bit more user friendly. The Elites were rock solid and would hold your bottle tight over even the worst cobbles. Unfortunately, you had to extract your bottles straight out of the cage. The Cannondale Speed-C bottle cages are perfect for the road but don't fight with you to get your bottle out or back in. Lightweight and attractive.
First it holds bottle well and is easy to extract from. Plus it looks great and is quite reasonable in cost - all around good value.
Used on my road bike, I found this cage to be alarmingly loose. I'm unwilling to tempt fate and lose a bottle. I'll be returning it.
