The Zoot CompressRx Recovery Tight is constructed with far more than a few panels of slightly more or slightly less compression. Starting with ZoneRx, Zoot has created muscle specific zones of compression that stabilize and prevent post exercise soreness. To increase blood flow back to the heart and ultimately increase the amount of "good" blood flowing through your system Zoot has developed CRx. CRx is truly graduated compression with a higher MMHG (pressure) reading at the ankle while slightly decreasing the amount of compression in the calves and further decreasing pressure into the thighs and waist. Studies have shown a 20% reduction in compression from ankle to waist is required to feel the positive effects of true compression. Zoot has accomplished this with an MMHG reading between 25-30 at the ankle, 22-25 MMHG at the calf and 14-18MMHG at the thigh. Stirrups also play an important role in the CompressRx recovery story. The only way to get the blood moving from your feet and lower ankles is to have this high level of compression right down in to the feet. Graduated compression and muscle zoning are not the only innovations on this recovery garment. SynchroRx fabric has been engineered with polypropylene and Silver tech provide unbelievable moisture wicking and 99.9% antimicrobial protection. This high level of antimicrobial protection comes from Zoot going above and beyond standard manufacturing practices. Each polypropylene fiber gets run through a Silver tech treatment before being used to create an endurance garment unlike any you've seen.
