Zipp SpeedShop 900 Disc
PowerTap SL+

Zipp SpeedShop 900 Disc Wheel / PowerTap SL+
A common question is why to look into Zipp's 900 disc when it appears at first glance inferior to the Sub-9 disc? Well we feel Zipp's 900 PowerTap disc deserves a second look! First of all it is 50 grams lighter than Zipp's Sub-9 PowerTap disc. Second of all is that Zipp has shown that the Zipp 900 is disc is laterally stiffer than the Sub-9 PowerTap disc, which means more power being delivered into forward motion! Not to mention it is over 11% cheaper! Save weight, save money, save energy.
One of the biggest drawbacks of using PowerTap for time-trialists and triathletes has been that you couldn't use it with a disc. Those days are finally over! By completely redesigning a PowerTap hub, Zipp and Cycleops have joined together to create a Zipp disc with an internal PowerTap hub, thus creating the ultimate weapon in the PowerTap line. Still has drag-reducing dimples, lenticular design, and a 19mm frontal profile and at 1050g it's only 100 grams heavier than the standard Zipp 900 disc!

When using a different hub you will need to learn the code that the hub is broadcasting. To accomplish this you should do the following:
- Spin the rear wheel to wake the hub out of sleep mode.
- Hold down MODE + SELECT till you see a screen that says "SEE EDt" with numbers 1-5 at the bottom. These are menus.
- Press SELECT till the number 5 is flashing
- Press MODE
- You are now on a screen that shows the HUB ID, which is a 5 digit code. It is set to the last hub your PowerTap computer was talking too.
- Press MODE, which scrolls through the numbers (you can manually set the numbers by pushing SELECT), till you see the word LEARN
- Hold down SELECT till LEARN starts flashing. Let go of SELECT. Your computer will now find the hub and store the 5-digit code!
- Continue to press MODE till you exit the Menu
- Go out and put the power down!!!
