Nice but launches bottle
August 11, 2015
I wanted an BTA hydration system and read great reviews about this one. Setup is a little more complicated than I would expect but not horrible. The bottle sits in a good position and has a lot of adjustability for the drinking straw position. The big issue is the bottle tries to launch when it sweats when it carries ice water. This wasn't just a little movement either. I literally had to pinch my wrist together on the front of the bottle because it would slide on on every little tiny bump. It almost came out about 15-20 times in 30 minutes. As soon as the outside of the bottle dried off then there were no more issues. I haven't tried the new neoprene cover though. My "bite" valve was destroyed after 1 ride. I suggest that you avoid using your teeth. I'm still going to use this but I'm going to rig up something to hold the bottle in.
Adjustability fit bite valve works well easy to drink from promotes hydration carries more liquid than competitors
bottle launches when the bottle sweats from cold drinks bite valve is not very durable difficult to get the last of the liquid out splashes even when using the solid lid

I fell like this product is optimal for handle bar hydration.
Mounting system, bite valve.
The location in relation to my bike computer was hard to work around.
