Solid bottle carrier
August 2, 2015
I use this on a Cervelo P2. It's solid when mounted correctly. I have two specialized rib cage bottle cages on it and so far haven't launched a bottle. I use a mezzo bag strapped the bottom of it and a seat stay light mounted on the water cage bolts on the back. It carries the bottle close enough that they're easy to grab but far enough back that I don't hit them when I scoot back on the seat. The bottle cages can be mounted at different angles and the wing can be mounted at different angles on the seat post. The worse part is the price. It's just two pieces of aluminum and some bolts. Xlab is making a killing on this.
solid mount can carry a decent amount of stuff several angle choices
expensive for what it is edges of aluminum can be sharp
