Vision Tech Mini Clip-On
January 17, 2007
I bought these after riding with Syntace C 2's for a few seasons, and liked how they felt right out of the box, however after some rides and races where I spent more then 12-15 miles in them, they began to get uncomfortable. I tried seat positioning, and a shorter stem, but still wasn't seeing an improvement in comfort. The arm pads are fairly thin, and can get uncomfortable after a while. They were very good in hilly triathlons (mountain man comes to mind) however on downhills, and long flats, you wish you had more to grab. If you like riding with your forearms on your handlebar, you may like these as well since they bascially sit right on the handlebar, not much of a rise. So overall if you ride some steep TT's, or Tri's, these may be worth your dollar, if you race a lot of Tri's that have little to no hills, stick to a full length bar.
