The TYR Men's Hurricane Triathlon Wetsuit Category 3 was designed in collaboration with world renowned triathlete Andy Potts it was also designed with the goal to utilize most of the highlights of the Category 5 but deliver a suit at a fraction of the Category 5 cost, TYR created the Category 3. TYR used Yamamoto Nano SCS rubber to provide the best fitting competitive suit and combine that with the remaining highlights of the Category 5. The TYR Men's Hurricane Triathlon Wetsuit Category 3 could be the high end wetsuit in any of our lines of wetsuits. It is pound for pound the best wetsuit on the market.

Durability and quality are lacking

Already on my second suit, like other reviews I used mine once...that's right once and the seems tore apart in the calf. Sent the suit back to TYR and after 6 weeks they sent out a new one. When I took that one out of the box it already had a small tear in it. For the PREMIUM price you're paying these suits should be built to last. TYR SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED. Best or worst part of the story, the second suit that they sent with the small tear in it... I threw out the box, thinking the suit was ok, three months later when I took it out of the plastic wrap to use it for first spring swim I found the tear, TYR WOULDN'T REPLACE IT ! The tags are still on it hanging on a wetsuit hanger in my closet, pretty sure if I try and put it on the small tear in the shoulder seam will open up completely... Horrid quality
