product description
The TYR Hurricane Freak of Nature Triathlon Wetsuit is the most amazing wetsuit to hit the market ever. Flexibility and comfort are king when it comes to the making of a great Triathlon Wetsuit and the TYR Freak of Nature is the best of both worlds. td>

The 100% Yamamoto 40 Cell rubber is 7X's more flexible thanks to the top secret comfortable gold jersey liner on the inside. This suit is so flexible you honestly wont notice having it on. Buoyancy throughout the entire suit is achieved thanks to the 360 degree core stabilization system and the five stabilization panels strategically placed through the entire suit. The biggest time saving piece of equipment in triathlon is a wetsuit so make your investment worth it. Its no wonder that TYR has so many Ironman champions racing in their products the TYR Hurricane Freak of Nature is that good.

  • 100% Yamamoto 40 Cell Rubber The best in the industry
  • 7X more stretch than the distant competition
  • 360 degree Core Stabilization System
  • Five core stabilization panels precisely target the muscle groups to elevate the swimmer ensuring optimal body position and preservation of core strength over the long-term of the swimming race.
  • Free R.O.M. Zones: Eliminates constriction, allowing the swimmer to achieve a long reach while placing no strain on the shoulder.
  • Speed Wrap Paneling: Employing the lightest Yamamoto Nano SCS Coated 5mm neoprene panels throughout the entire leg, chest, and core to raise the swimmer in the water to reduce form drag.
  • Graded Force Catch Panels
  • Thick graded panels are strategically aligned on the forearm to allow a catch-and-pull stroke like a built-in paddle. A thinner yet insulated layer lies under the riveted panel to allow a feel for the water while keeping the skin insulated.
  • Form Fitting Wrist Cuffs Multi-stretch cuffs at the wrist allows powerful strokes while keeping water from entering the suit.
  • Quick Release Ankle Cuffs Tapered legs allow the ankle of the suit to reverse and open for a quick and effortless removal during T1.

    Worth EVERY penny!!!
    May 30, 2012
I decided to purchase this wetsuit after reading many, many reviews. I can say it was worth every penny. I spent that past 2 seasons swimming in a Blue Seventy Helix and the fit just wasn't quite right (I am 5'9" and weigh 140lbs at race weight and the Helix always felt like it was pulling down on my shoulders). This wetsuit fits PERFECTLY! It was also extremely easy to put on. I used this wetsuit in my first race of the season and had a PR for an Olympic distance triathlon swim (and training has just begun). The wetsuit is so comfortable that I actually forgot I was wearing a wetsuit during the swim, which has never happened to me before. I can't wait to see what I can do in this suit when I am peaking this season. This wetsuit is EXTREMELY fast! You can feel the speed. This wetsuit also comes off very easily in transition. All of the extras that come with the suit are much appreciated, nice to get a little something when you drop this much coin. Worth every penny if you are looking for the best wetsuit out there.

    Easiest breathing suit made

From the waist to the neck I couldn't even tell I had the suit on (I raced IMAZ in this suit). In fact, the longer I swam the more comfortable the suit became. The arm panels provided some additional spread by allowing me to hold more water throughout the stroke. The only reason I am giving this 4/5 stars is because of durability. Yamamoto 40 rubber is not very durable and if you race a ton then this suit will take a beating (I.e. finger nail holes). This is the Lamborghini of triathlon wetsuits - only take it out when you are ready to go REALLY fast. As a member of the staff I was provided this product at no charge to test and review.
