This is a must have tool in your training arsenal. The foam roller has a foam outer with a hard plastic inner. This allows the muscle/tendon to have a bit of padding, but the grid shapes as well as the inner liner trigger the muscles. I use this or its big brother every night and sometimes before I work out.
