T1 First Wave™ Bibjohn

The De Soto T1 First Wave Bibjohn is a two-piece triathlon wetsuit that is designed for the ultimate comfort and speed. Because of the two piece design, tops and bottoms are sold separately, this is perfect for those who have a hard time finding a suit that will fit correctly. See features below.

FIRST WAVE FEATURES

ZIPPERS ONLY Lightweight, custom made YKK zippers allow all 2006 pullovers a more intuitive removal, equalizing zipperless pullovers in speed of exit. The new Pullovers are easier to put on, and quick to remove.

BIO-STROKE™ DESIGN The addition of the zipper has allowed De Soto to improve the fit on the torso, pull the arms forward (resembling a mummy walking) and render swimming easier. The Bio-stroke fit rotates a swimmer's shoulders when at rest. Finally, a tri wetsuit that has eliminated shoulder fatigue all together.

OPTIMIZED HIP FLOTATION The Bibjohns now have 5mm of thickness up to the hips (before only up to the mid-thigh). This further lifts the hips and legs to put the body in the efficient "downhill" swimming position. Most triathletes swim faster with a pull-buoy. We have put you in the fastest, most buoyant pull buoy in the world.

LOWER NECK-LINE All pullovers and vests have a lower neckline. This feature facilitates breathing, eliminating the "first timer's choking sensation," so frequent in one-piece suits. This feature also allows swimmers to lift their heads to site direction in open water without sacrificing efficient swimming position.

SMALLER LOGOS Consistent with the De Soto brand, the 2006 collection of T1 Wetsuit® models has smaller logos. Entering T1's successful fifth season we believe that our wetsuits, like our clothing, sell themselves on the virtues of their reputation, quality and customer service. Many people like quality brands, they just don't like big logos.

How to measure:
CHEST (circumference measured at the nipple line) IF YOU ARE MALE
BUST (and cup size) IF YOU ARE FEMALE

HIPS (circumference measured at the widest point of your buttocks, not just at your hips)
