    Great book for a borderline average swimmer

    As an experienced triathlete but an average swimmer, like most it seems, I tend to come out of the water in the middle of my age group. This book may not have made my technique better but it did give me a structured plan to follow. I have been following this book for roughly six weeks and have noticed my times dropping slightly, I'm more comfortable in the water, and fitter. Without dropping a decent amount on a swim coach or a masters program this is an ideal book to help you improve. Don't get me wrong a coach and masters will get you there quicker but this book is great for those on a low budget, students, or those that just need good workouts for structure. This book is also waterproof so you can have it poolside! I would say this book is not for the beginner or the advanced. It is for those right in the middle.

    Cons:
    Not a real coach!
